MV Blue Pearl
The present owner has bought the boat in 2016 and contacted us for a major refit. The boat was brought to Marmaris in winter 2016-2017.
The boat had a long maintenance list and a few of them were as follows:
WESMAR SS395 sonar was stuck in the traveler tube. The traveler is removed, the tube surface is treated and the traveler is installed back. Also the hydraulic system is serviced. [1] [2]
CRAMM NCDT 4.000 type crane was not operating properly and had many leaks. The crane was taken away from the boat, dismantled into parts, serviced by replacing necessary parts and reinstalled on to the boat. [3] [4]
RHEINSTROM brand boilers were serviced and not functioning parts were replaced. Exterior countertop CORIAN surfaces were replaced with owner’s choice. [5]
ONAN generators were overhauled with an extensive service. [6-7-8-9]
SEAVISION SV14 underwater lights were installed by welding on to the transom. [10-11-12-13-14-15]
SEALAND vacuum toilet system is completely overhauled. [16] [17] [18] [19]
AWL-GRIP paint system on the superstructure were repaired and the fore deck was painted. [20] [21]
A new locker was made for storing the wind surf equipment on to the fly bridge. [22-23-24]
All exterior upholstery was renewed including the STRATAGLASS clear vinyl windows. [25-26]
Damaged EXALTO wipers were replaced. [27]
Underwater ship went through an extensive treatment and painted with INTERNATIONAL MICRON 77 antifouling.
Some tank surfaces in the engine room was rust treated and DAMPASTE visco-elastic sound & vibration damping paste was applied. LORIVAN brand fresh water pressure tank was repaired.
Various parts of the teak deck were renewed.
SERFILCO brand water-maker filter was repaired.
The boat is in south of Italy and we are still in contact with the captain.
